Youths Bemaons FG's Inability To Pay Allowance.

  The youths scattered all over the Federation in different States under the umbrella of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has bemoaned Federal Government's inability to pay their monthly allowance for the month of April. "It is a wonder" as one Corps member noted "that the Federal Government is yet to pay us our allowee for the month of April while we have been working even into May." This feeling of unpleasantness is shared by all corps members in different States of the Federation. Some others are been vociferous about their situation in their places of primary assignment and other places they find themselves, lamenting over the FG's indifference to their condition. They alleged been very impecunious thereby not able to cater for some of their needs. These and many more, perhaps out of sheer activism, goaded some into issuing striking threats. They however resorted to the use of various forms of social network to register their dismay as well as garner support for the impending strike action from other corps members. Below is an excerpt of their intention circulated via BlackBerry Messaging, Facebook, Twitter, 2go, Blogs, etc;

"We the Nigerian youths under the auspices of NYSC have deemed it fit not to go to work next week except the FG pays us our much expected financial reward (allowee) between tomorrow the 11th of may 2012 and monday the 14th of may 2012. It's not just right! We can't just work under this condition. We are broke and people are beginning to see us as touts because many of our members now claim "staffs" in public buses and you know how insulting that is. Some of us go to restaurants and eat on credit or we just simply give any available excuse like we forgot our wallets or some other flimsy excuse. Please and please,whether otondo or senior corper,just pass this message on till it gets to one stupid bureaucrat sitting on our money. WE CAN'T TAKE THIS SHIT ANYMORE.
National Association of Aggrieved Youth Corpers.
   Some Corps members nevertheless resorted to pictorial and graphical expressions of their feelings. Hereinbelow are inter alia, represesntations of such.
  The FG is therefore called upon to swiftly swerve into positive action on this matter as these are persons who voluntarily left their comfort zones and ventured into national service.
