Sources have disclosed that the Federal Government was unable to meet the schedule for disbursing monthly allocations from the federation account to states. This is happening for the second month in a row. The disclosure was that the nation's cash flow woes has nevertheless worsened.
It is even revealed that some States has not received monthly allocation for the month of March. As a result of this major cash flow crisis, many civil servants as well as National Youth Corps members are yet to be paid their salaries and allowances for the month of April.
Enough of the news. So many questions remain eternal on my lips; Can the likes of Finance Minister, other Ministers, Legislators, Military personnel be owed and be given this excuse? Isn't it obvious that we're allotted little or no relevance? If the NYSC scheme can't be maintained, I move for it to be so scrapped!
