The popular defunct-Bank PHB's advert that one day, cars would run on water, which often times has been dismissed as mere fiction and an endeavour resident only in sheer fantasies, has somehow managed to seep into reality; although not with the same ultimate effect of running on water but on strong unreliance on oil. By this time years ago (as far as automobiles began existing) it's mere fiction as well as sheer fantasy to ever ruminate on the thought of having cars run on electrically swappable rechargeable battery, as Israeli entrepreneur, Shai Agassi has begun rolling out the world's first nationwide electric car network. This came after $400million has been expended in outlays and months behind schedule. He has however put in place four stations where the cars can get a new dose of juice whenever they run out of battery life. This is a very much welcomed idea as its advantages far outweigh its demerits. The concept, according to Agassi, is to "wean the world of oil and eliminate the biggest hurdles to environmentally friendly electric cars - high cost and limited range."
Furthermore, the cars aren't coming with fixed battery as drivers can swap their depleted batteries which are rechargeable for a fully charged ones at network of stations, receiving a full 160 kilometer (100 miles) range in five minutes - a concept which accords with modern dynamism. people travelling shorter distances can plug in their batteries each day to chargers installed in their homes, offices and other public places which will charge fully withing 6 to 8 hours.
Indeed the days we often fantasized about cars running on water, electric and so on are here. Fantasies have metamorphosed into reality.
