A Chinese football fan is reportedly dead after going eleven nights without sleep as he tried to watch every single kick of the ball of Euro 2012.
Jiang Xiaoshan, 26, who was reported to be supporting England and France in this tournament died of exhaustion.
How the hell did it happen?
Well, because of the time difference, and in a bid to watch every kick in this tournament, Jiang would stay up each night with friends and then would go to work the next morning. It then happened that on Tuesday morning, following Ireland vs. Italy match, he went to his Changsha home and slept at about 5 am and didn't wake up again.
I think this goes to all the football fans. Extremism is bad. Virtue lies in the middle. Moderation is the best. Sadly enough, before now, there have been reports of one odd thing coming up as a consequence of soccer fanatism. Either someone commits suicide as a result of his club's loss in the games or there arises scuffle between a group of people arising from the game or someone even losing a fortune or a substantial amount of money placed on bet.
